Saint-Etienne du Mont and stations

Saint-Etienne du Mont

Saint-Etienne du Mont’s rood loft

Sometimes, when inspiration doesn’t want to show up, you know there’s not much to do. You try to hang out all day long, hoping you will come across that magic shot you want to take, even though you’ve got no idea of what it consists in, but at the end of the day, you come back with nothing. This is what happened yesterday. However, I couldn’t afford a “blank” week. Indeed, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to write one article a week at least, and I’m quite serious about keeping it.

Therefore, I went today to Saint-Etienne du Mont, one of my favourite churches in Paris. The rood loft there is one of the most beautiful rood lofts I have seen in my entire life, and I can tell you I’ve visited more churches than most people will ever visit in their lifetime. It’s definitely a church to visit in Paris.

After leaving, I’ve gone to Line 6, in order to catch some pictures on the theme of “Waiting”. I didn’t have much inspiration, I must confess, but in the end, I’m still quite happy with the results, though I don’t know which one I prefer between the two photos I took.

In the end, it was not as bad a day as yesterday was, in terms of inspiration, but I do really hope next week-end will be better. Any idea ?
