I haven’t posted any new article for quite a long time now. Not that I”ve stopped taking pictures. In fact, I happen to have almost too many pictures to post.
Lately, I’ve tried to take some pictures of puddle reflections in Paris. It’s nothing really new I know. But I enjoy it a lot. It seems I can’t help but smile when I get one puddle reflection photo that I like, and I need to smile a bit more now that winter is coming and all the fruits of the year seem to vanish and fade away.
Of course, the trouble is that it has to have been raining quite a bit of time so that I can find puddles broad enough to get the shots I want. This means that most of the time, I go out when it’s still raining outside, so that the puddles to dry out before I take just a snap of them.
Quite honestly, I’ve gathered many of them in the last two months. Enough to make a tiny exhibition I guess. This would be a nice thing to do for me, for even though I don’t aim at being a professional photographer, photography represents at least 25% of what I do in my free time, and I don’t want to let all this time go to waste.
Anyway, as always, photography helps me keep going on. I haven’t moved on yet, but at least, I’ve not stumbled as hard as I thought I would. Step by step, photo by photo, I try to smile a bit more, and I hope the photos I take will also make you smile (there’ll be some more to come next week, I promise).
